Shuffleboard Conference Game
The Guide Dogs charity required a game to draw attention to their stand at a charity conference. The game needed to highlight current issues guide dog owners face, while securing valuable contact time with MPs who could fund the charity to overcome these issues.
We were required to design and develop a shuffleboard game that could be played within the limited 3m stand space.
HOW WE DID IT
The manufacture of the game required a variety of materials and processes a well as sourcing components such as model taxis which we were able to spray in opposing team colours.
We routed the main elements for the frame of the board and screen printed graphics on the reverse of an acrylic sheet for the playing board.
We also inserted a trap door to make the game more challenging which involved balancing the right pivot point in order for the door to swing back round to its closed position, against the weight of the car pieces to create a working mechanism.
